Engage in meaningful relationships by doing life together. Be a part of each others lives, fellowships, and be on mission together. It is in the context of these groups that genuine community and growth begins to happen.
Are you looking for a way to get connected to other people in our church? If you want to grow in your relationship with Jesus and take next steps, you need people surrounding you to encourage you, challenge you, and be there for you. Small Groups are a great opportunity for you to get connected to our church and take your relationship with Christ to the next level!
Groups are all about people doing life together and striving to be followers of Christ. Some of our groups meet Sunday mornings, some Sunday evenings, Tuesday mornings, and Wednesday evenings. At each meeting you will have a leader that leads the discussion and offers up questions for the group to answer. The goal for all of your group meetings is to grow closer to Christ and each other as we discern together how to grow His Kingdom.
Becoming disciples through Bible Study! DISCIPLE is a program of disciplined Bible study aimed at developing strong Christian leaders. The study gives the Old and New Testaments equal time, emphasizing the wholeness of the Bible as a revelation of God. DISCIPLE draws upon the work of scholars, the personal Bible reading and study of the participant, and dynamic group discussion to aid understanding of the Bible. Search Scripture and find community! Contact Tanya Mohawk for more information.

This group of dynamic women meets in the large meeting room on the first floor of the Education Building. This group is open to all ages. They usually do a Bible Study written by a woman and study topics that interest the group. Their studies usually have a video and then discussion. Most of these studies have homework for the week. This is a great group to be a part of because they not only study the Bible together but also pray and do life together! For more information contact Misty Singleton or Sally Garland. The Men’s Bible group meets in the Women’s Discussion SS Room (far right back corner of Ed. Bldg) on Wednesday nights from 6:45 to 7:30. It meets throughout the year and is usually led by Jim Waddell. The group opens with a prayer for current needs in the church and community and for the Presence of God during the fellowship. Meetings are a combination of presentation and group discussion. Topics are sometimes for a single meeting and sometimes continued for several meetings. Printed lessons (notes) are often available for take-home reading. Group closes with prayers by any who feel led. We are aware of our extreme neediness for the Life of God through the Holy Spirit and hungry to go new places in our knowledge and experience of God, Christian love, and understanding of God’s call on our individual lives. If you are of the same heart, please come and share your faith walk with us on Wednesday nights.
Helping men grow in Christ so others may know Christ. The ministry of men in the local church is defined as a core group of men, partnering with their pastor, to invite and initiate spiritual growth opportunities for all men of the church. Everyone has different gifts, graces and areas of interest. Therefore, opportunities for participation would include diverse ministries of the church, such as prayer groups, missions, Bible studies, retreats, workshops/seminars, small groups in the Wesleyan tradition, leading and participating on committees, teaching Sunday school classes, youth ministries, scouting, mentoring and assisting in leading worship service. The focus is not inward, concentrating only on those who attend a set meeting, but outward to all men, assisting them to engage the process of spiritual growth.
