“Do all the good you can. By all the means you can. In all the ways you can. In all the places you can. At all the times you can. To all the people you can. As long as ever you can.” - John Wesley

SOS (Service over Self) Crystal Springs Food Pantry

Our church family participates by having "Second Sunday Giving" of non-perishables each month for the local food pantry. The SOS serves 270 families (approximately 500 people) in the Crystal Springs, Georgetown, and northern Copiah County areas once a month.

Society of St. Andrew (SOSA)

A grassroots, faith-based, hunger relief non-profit/food gleaning organization that gleans nutritious excess produce from farmer's fields after harvest and delivers it to people in need (over 40 million Americans live in poverty) across the US. Our church family, including our children, save coins in SOSA collection boxes during the months of November and December to help feed those living in poverty in the state of Miss.

UMCOR - United Methodist Committee on Relief

Our church family has helped by making flood/clean-up buckets; health kits; and making monetary contributions to help those affected by tornadoes throughout Miss. for the past several years. We also contribute to UMCOR's One Great Hour of Sharing and to World Communion Day.

Our Father's House (Crystal Springs) and Mercy House (Georgetown)

Our church family supports both rehabilitation centers through monetary contributions and provides "Christmas shoeboxes" of personal hygiene products and devotional materials to the young women of OFH and the young men of Mercy House. Our church family along with other mission volunteers helped paint the exterior of OFH during the summer of '14.

Each August our church family donates school supplies for the under-privileged students in the local Crystal Springs schools.

Each Wednesday night we have a dedicated team of volunteers that will deliver a hot and fresh meal to the homebound in our community. This is a thriving ministry to friends and family.

One of our Conference Camps located approximately 10 miles from CSUMC. We sponsor the Camp Store/Canteen and helped renovate the facility recently.

In recent years we have sent mission teams to Guatemala and Costa Rica. We are currently in partnership with the Rafiki Orphanage in Ghana, Africa. We hope to partner with a church in Honduras in the near future.

PULSE is a camp sponsored by Camp Wesley Pines and supported by CSUMC. It's a week of minor home repair here in Crystal Springs and the surrounding area. Youth teams will build wheel chair ramps, paint houses, and complete other minor home repair projects.
